Abstract
There are some difficulties in operation for extensive thoracic aortic aneurysm by posterolateral thoracotomy or median sternotomy. In this case, bilateral anterior thoracotomy provides excellent exposure for repair of lesions involving entire thoracic aorta. There were no evidence for spinal cord ischemic injury and postoperative neurologic deficit. Postoperative course was uneventful and the patient discharged without wound-related complication.
